In the deep blue ocean of Perth,

The blue whale is the biggest animal on earth.

They're twenty-five metres and slender shaped too,

With a colour underwater that appears light blue.

They have baleen plates replacing their teeth,

Sometimes in groups of two or four underneath.

Environmental change is affecting blue whales,

Also fishing gear getting caught in their tails.

A long sticky tongue with krill as its prey,

Can be heard from 1000 miles away.

Like an Olympic runner the blue whale's fast,

So, make sure that the future of blue whales lasts.
