The trees whisper
As the other trees whimper
The trees have a bushy top wig
As they do a jig
The zig zaging gum
Is as strong as a base drum
The Waratah is fancier
Than the parched Banksia
The pungent smell of Eucalyptus
Competes with the Hibiscus
The Golden Wattle
Outshines the fleshy Bluebottle
The gallant Gymea Lily
Towers over the Lilly Pilly
The Sturt’s Desert Pea
Longs to see the sea
The Kangaroo Paw
Stands proudly at the nursery store
The Bottle Brush shrubs
Are the coolest in the club
Nature is everywhere
Its wonder, beyond compare
