Every year the ocean fills with fear,

As the sun sears the surface of the water.

The clownfish no longer have anywhere to hide,

As their homes are being burned alive.

The sharks are starved because their prey is scarred.

The dolphins can’t play because they can’t even stay.

Oceans have no colour, no way to express,

The coral can’t even impress.

Looks more like rocks, dull and plain,

The Great Barrier Reef is in pain.

Some humans helping others wrecking,

Is anyone awake?

This is our Earth at stake.
