The Wind

The wind is a mysterious being
It is the great and grand keeper of secrets
While the waves know secrets too
For it is all-seeing
But the wind knows more
For it is all-hearing
It existed way before anything on this rich land
Like the past
It has come
However unlike anything else
It has not gone
The wind has dug in its claws and made a permanent stand
Throughout the years it has heard all conversations
As it fluttered in between trees
Twisted up the seas
Curved around dinosaur knees
It never stopped
The great whooshing wind has never ever stopped
This is how it knows everything
Even the secret song of the Earth
The wind has never let a secret loose
For it is the greatest keeper of secrets
Tell it everything safely knowing
It will never tell a soul
