The Wombats

Wombats are like gardeners. 

They help the environment 

By digging up the hard earth, 

So the new seeds can grow

And then watch the seedlings flourish

To add to the environment's diversity.

Wombats have many interesting quirks.

Some are fascinating and interesting, 

While others are funky and peculiar. 

Like that their poops are cubes, 

Or a wisdom is a group of wombats. 

And it’s main form of defence 

Is its butt!

There are an infinite amount of reasons

For why we should protect them,

Like we learn so much from them. 

Or that the environment relies on them,

So that’s why we should protect, 

These innocent souls from

The disasters of deforestation.
