The Wooden Lung

Tall trees blowing in the wind 

some trees fat some trees thin

Some trees stand 

some trees fall 

some trees don't grow at all

Trees are unique just like people 

trees and people we are all equal

Bees need trees 

And trees need bees 

The circle of nature for all to see

Trees come black and brown and red

Some trees survive

Some trees are dead

Some trees get turned into a beautiful house

Some trees are sanctuary for a little mouse

Some trees get turned into wooden toys 

Trees are for all to enjoy 

Trees are the lungs of the earth 

If you cut one down let it rebirth
