The World Awakens

A puddle of flashbacks
Rippling through constellations,
A tree’s whistle, a nightingale’s call,
The breeze whispering mysteries,
Hiding the answers through frozen roots.
Time stands still,
Preserving what matters most.
Grains hidden under the ice,
The segments of time embedded through space,
Into the glorious sunset glistening just over the horizon,
It thaws, it fades,
Time speeds up,
An aurora borealis fluttering over the frozen wastelands,
A quartz of fire,
Hidden in the maze of vines,
A labyrinth of the future,
A pinecone of timekeeping,
Releasing secrets long forgotten,
Time falls too fast,
But now we can catch up.
