These Swaggy Daggy Shoes

Last year in Alice Springs,
I came home from school and my mum went ding,
My shoes were broken and they didn’t shine,
My mum said “nah ah, they look just fine,

We went to Kmart to find a pair,
I chose my shoes and sat on a chair,
They weren’t the right ones, they were too small,
Of course I’m too big and far too tall,

We then found a pair that was able to fit,
Mum told me to walk around a bit,
The next day at school I was able to walk,
To meet all my friends and we started to talk,
