A cascade of pearly-white water

Droplets glisten in the sun

The woods look alive, pretty as ever

The day has just begun

Bright, warm rays shine down

Through the towering trees

Cool winds whip through the air

Rustling fallen leaves

Here I can see the glory

Of a forest I know and love

I want to know its story

I feel I've not seen enough

The leaves, the breeze, the trees

The rampant waterfall

A moment I wish I could freeze

The beauty of it all
