This is Australia

The fresh air of the mountain wooshes past me.
Embracing me with the verdant atmosphere.
I close my eyes.
I open my eyes again to see the beautiful bright sun.
The magpies coo and the kookaburras laugh.
The eucalyptus tree branches stand high and proud.
Making them visible to the naked eye and familiar by their scent.
The blazing sun catches the corner of my eye, radiating across,
I look up at it.
“Hello, again," she smiles wide.
Then, when she goes to sleep, I say, “See you tomorrow!”
As she slowly fades off into the horizon.
The moon slowly appears, brightening the absent night.
“Hello, Moon," I call, and he grins.
Under the bright moon leap red kangaroos.
The frightening waves crashing onto the shore.
The Southern Cross lighting up the sky.
This is the beauty.
This is the divine.
This is Australia, the land and nature, combined.
