Through the eyes of a Fairy Penguin

Through the eyes of a Fairy Penguin, I see my reflection in the clear blue water and the bright sun almost blinding my eyes.
Salt in the sand, seaweed sloshing around tying itself up.
I can hear splashes from kids swimming, screaming.
Calm waves rush to my ears.
The fairy penguin little kid scraping their feet in their parent’s shadow.
The taste of a salty fish on the back of my throat and left over
camp food from the people last night.
The mosquito delights as she digs her delicate snout, greedily gulping, it wallows in blood.
I can smell the salty ocean from miles away.
I can feel the shells on my feet as crunchy as crunching cornflakes.
The emotions she feels are tired at day and energetic at night.
