Tree kangaroos

The tree kangaroo is perched up in the towering trees,

Its fluffy coat protecting it from any kind of weather.

The bark of the tree is rough like stormy waves in the sea,

And the leaves are sharp and paper-like but it couldn’t be better.

There are plenty of leaves and flowers around for it to eat,

They don’t deserve to be endangered but it’s the way it is,

They are getting hunted and their habitats are being destroyed.

Soon they might all be gone.
