High upon the green velvet plain,

with silks of brown.

At the centre of the forest,

like a zebra in a flock of giraffes

Embracing with its wide open arms.

Wind, storm, rain and sunshine,

for the saplings to thrive sweetly

It has roots in the soil, yet reaches to the sky.

Life is like a tree, it has many branches.

A rainbow shines upon the tree in spring,

a burst of thousand colours, mingling in a calm hue.

Eventually plummeting to the ground in autumn.

As winter approaches, it sits bare,

as if in hibernation.

Then it sways and dances gently with the breeze.

Waiting patiently for

a new day,

a new season,

a new life.
