Trees

Elongated limbs
boughs to the sky,
leaves shimmering
growing and reaching high,
limbs twisting through
nature, breezes between
rough hard bark,
crunchy leaves floating away,
youthful and huge
lofty and towering,
solitary noble
trees are tall like the mountains
and Indigenous to the land.
