From a distance…. I see the beige brown eucalyptus tree dancing slowly with every strong gust of wind. I hear the group of trees shrieking as the wind spins through the forest. This tree is like a skyscraper underneath the night sky, reaching for the stars.

Close up... I can smell the strong smell of eucalyptus wafting into my nostrils. I feel the rough tree trunk scratching my soft skin. The tree is like a park, being climbed by children all day long.

Above me… I see a joey koala gripping onto his mum as she scrambles up the tree for safety. I hear the cockatoos squawking above me, perching themselves on the twisted, mysterious branches. The tree is their home, the thick leaves like a shield to hold out the rough weather.

Below me... I see the honey-like sap seeping through the cracks and wrinkles of the beautiful old tree. I feel the hard earth beneath my feet, the fresh morning air surrounding me. The leaves leap off of the branches as if they are skydiving.
