Trees and Leaves

Trees and leaves
How they flutter in the breeze.
How we climb them
And malign them.
Cut them down
Mould them around,
The world they give
Life to,
Never will thank them
Under our rule.
Life is unfair,
Dark and painful,
But all I wish,
Is that they still,
Flutter in the breeze.
