Tree's Life

The wind's breeze rustles my leaves,
Birds grip to my branches,
My roots spread out,
I sway from side to side.
Then I hear the sound of cars.
Bang! I see my friend fall.
Slowly my friends and family get cut down,
The air is full of the smell of fuel.
I am alone,
I have lost my friends and family,
It's silent,
Years pass, I'm still alone.
In the distance I see green.
Slowly more green pops up,
Saplings become trees,
New friends, new people.
The birds are back,
The breeze is back,
I'm happy,
I'm a tree.
