Trees today
Go from green to gray
Chaff Trees aren’t here to stay
The key is to delay

The plea is underway
We agree to pray
degree of this issue is not okay
These trees have nowhere to stray

Norfolk island - 80 percent of bush is gone 
The push for the bush was withdrawn
The plan must be redrawn
Man must respawn

We must find a solution
We must lead the distribution
We must breed the trees in great speed
So there will be no execution 

The trees yelp
I agree the need for help
There are really no guarantees 
But we really need more trees
