Tropical Storms

This humid sensation

Sweltering yet cools me down

The fresh rain falling

Attending to noises near.

Hearing the wind blow

Rainwater dripping on my hair

The clouds turn away

Hearing the waves crash and roar.

Beneath the wild trees

I hear trickling water

As the sun sparkles

The concrete is slippery.
