Turtles

Mother so compassionate and green

laying her eggs near a beautiful scene

She needs to dig to keep us warm

so we don't get eaten before we are born

Then mother goes back to the sea

After a few days we all hatch

all of us walk in one fresh batch

While the birds swoop from the highest peaks

my siblings and I dodge their beaks

trying to escape without a scratch

We finally reach the sea 

Now we're all in glee 

Now for the first time 

While the sun shines

All of us are now free

I am an adult now 

there are so many things to say wow

Fish, Coral, Dolphins and Sharks

Some of them even glow in the dark

and now I'm so proud
