Two Sides of the Story

Cyclones dance and twirl,
Wrecking everything in their steps
Tsunamis build a protective wall,
Which fall and consume all
Humans curse nature, as they angrily bawl
Little do they know, they’re the ones behind it all
Trees, they cut
Not knowing it calls the floods
Fossil fuels, they burn
Igniting the matches of nature
“Nature ravishes our cities!”
But that’s not all they do, is it?
From the walls to the food we eat
They’re all nature’s gifts
Yet despite this, we retaliate against them
We taint the air they breathe with toxic fumes
We drill into their hearts, never filling the gap
In this devastating tale, humans are the foes
Nature wanted peace and contentment
And we chose to disregard their will
