The shimmering sky

Met my eyes,

Dappled light, rustling leaves,

Sunrise in my sight.

Soft palette of colours

Spread across the sky.

Long plains of land,

Before it converted into sand.

Feeling enclosed.

I could stay here all day.

Under this tree,

Hard sticks lay.

June winter breeze,

Hits my face.

Feathers fall down majestically.

Failing to catch them, I wait.

Ears start to tingle,

Birds crying out.

Knocking out all the trees,

My phone alarm dings, time to go...
