Unrelentless

Dry sun, 

Ground baked hard,

Dry, dry dirt,

Summer’s curse,

Unrelentless

Dry dams,

Burrowing,

The bilby hides from the harsh sun,

Maybe to not wake up again,

Unrelentless 

Winter barren,

Autumn dry,

All through the spring,

Never ceasing rain 

Fresh earth, 

Damp earth,

Birds singing,

Trees swinging,

Nature celebrating,

After the rain
