What is Left

The world is burning while it is turning

All the animals are crying and yearning

Humans are making it worse and yawning

But there is not much time and it’s only just dawning

There is a hope we can undo our wrongs

If we do the right thing the birds will sing their songs

It is already happening, ideas are there

But they are no good sitting during this despair

If we use these plans we will win 

Renewable energy using sun and wind

Happy days with no pollution

Will only work if we make a solution

The beautiful trees, nice refreshing sea

If we do not say goodbye to our old friend, the tree

Come on people, we can all help

Before the earth makes its final yelp

There may not seem like much to build nice lives

But we can do it before the time arrives.
