Where I'd Like To Be

A salty fresh environment that goes on for miles,
Waves like ongoing traffic in a busy city.
My feet reach the finish line of waves,
My toes getting colder as I step like a sly fox cautiously, continuously creeping for prey
The fresh air breathes through my hair,
There’s nowhere else I would rather be.
I see the sun gleaming across the turquoise waters,
It warms my body where the water is yet to reach.
Sail boats dancing on top of the water like beautiful ballerinas,
Sea Gulls float through the air with every breathe of the breeze.
The fresh air breathes through my hair,
There’s nowhere else I would rather be.
