Where The Sea Meets The Land

Water shivering down my spine,

My feet in the sand,

Water reflecting the horizon

Where the sea meets land.

Seagulls flying back and forth,

Fish jumping on the water,

Crabs roaming on the sand,

And the dog, it was getting warmer.

A wave comes splashing

All over your toes,

You just stand still

And away it goes.

You can build a castle,

Down by the sea,

And look for shells,

Please come with me!

The beach is my friend,

My friend is the beach,

We look at each other,

As I take my last reach.
