The wind blows

The wallabies turn

But out in the sands

An urdlu burns.

The Light spreads through cracks and caves

As men stand, in its smoke they do bathe

To cleanse the spirits of evil and bad

Many do it, from mum to dad.

A man returns, spear standing tall

And with him a guruman, tail and all

They cut it up, cook and eat

It is gobbled up, a true dinner treat.

Out in the outback, the wind does churn

Out in the outback, an urdlu burns.
