Whispers in the Wilderness

Whispers in the Wilderness
Delicate flowers, gliding over the wind,
Concealed and incredibly rare, this bloom can be found in forest seas.
Feathers make a noise like an unsung song,
In areas where hope remains attached for such a long time.
Scales shine in declining waterways,
While habitats begin to disappear in distant dreams.
Paws on the eroding ground,
The future unclear, the fate without limits.
In prairie grasslands where growth is sparse and in woods that have grown thin,
The fabric of life unfortunately becomes thin.
Also, as the sun sets, strong resilience emerges.
An example of the cycles of nature’s rhythm.
We carry the responsibility of being the watchers at the edge.
How our choices articulate the missing link.
Gently handle and retain a mindful heart.
We foster what is precious and what is rare.
Because their survival shows insight into our own.
