Wisteria

Lavender petals drifting,
Ethereal as an airy mauve dream,
As fragile as a dewed spiderweb,
Reflecting the warm glow of a sunbeam.
An aged, cinnamon, twisted trunk,
Meditating, standing steady and tall,
Remaining proud, but gnarly and thorny.
A binder, a base of it all.
Wisteria angelically sways
To the humming melody of the misty breeze.
A whispery lullaby,
Flowing gently throughout the peridot leaves.
Whoosh, leaves rustle gently.
Wind drifts softly through fragile petals.
A ladybug gradually climbs the leaves.
Resting for another day, wisteria settles.
