Stand Still,

Footsteps come into you, not knowing you are alive,

A scavenger ducks from under a low, dense tree, not knowing you thrive,
Bullets shoot from an unknown object. You've seen before,
Bullets attack you, your soul is lost forever, a boar,

Bullets continue, rabbits, raccoons, chipmunks, badgers, foxes,
Animals trying to flee but shot down. This merciless scavenger
shoots more family members, your soul.
Your ecosystem blossomed, but now it's just plain boxes,
Scavengers are so selfish, big and greedy, not unlike a troll,

You can't bear to watch your family, slowly as they go, leaving.
You can't bear to stay alone while your family goes,
You can't bear to be unattended while you are grieving,
You can't bear to watch your family slowly as their memory flows,

All those animals only you contained have been swiped again
by scavengers, once again.
Swiped away when no one noticed in the brightness of the day.
Scavengers have affected you, your memory, your thoughts,
now you only feel like you're trapped in a den.

"Scavengers are selfish, big and greedy,"
would be something only you would say.

Family wiped away by ruthless scavengers
has been something not many people relate to.
But only a true, brave forest like you can withstand it,
only a true strong forest.
