Wonders of Sydney

The golden orange rises in the sky projecting beams of light
Which shine upon the majestic sea like a halo hovering above the water
And as falls the sweet harsh night
The gentle moonlight reaches out and charms the bridge to sleep
And to the East towards the rising sun are shells of marble white
Surrounded by water and crowd sits the exhausted Sydney Opera House
Who glows with pigments for 23 days annually at the festival of vivid lights
Is celebrated to allow humankind, to experience wonders united as one
The sweet salty air occupies my lungs with joy like petrol empowering a car
Just catching a glimpse of the vast water body discreetly conveys
A message to me, that nature prevails over humans no matter where you are
And God’s stitched blanket of lapis lazuli holds many majestic wonders invisible to the human eye
The sights and wonders that you see warms up even the coldest of heart
Once you see the wonders and spectacles your head will be so overwhelmed
That you will not even know where to start
From Sea Life to Darling Harbour to the Harbour Bridge and the Royal Botanic Gardens the options simply just are endless
Of all the places where I have been none are as unique
As the headquarters of heaven itself with all its majestic gemstone like features
Sydney wonders truly are mystique
From the Harbour Bridge, the water to the Opera House, the priceless sites of Sydney truly are infinite
