World like before

Your four spider petals
No longer here to see
Fading white colours
And blue purple leaves
Soon to be gone, just like me
White-chested and white-eyed
Shot out of the sky and out of life
Blue-tongued lizards
Hiding in places in Adelaide
Soon they'll be laid down, along with their lives
Whole communities set to extinguish
Unless something intervenes, please
Or it'll be the dinosaurs all over again
Think about all the carnage, all the things to be lost
I bet climate change doesn't care very much
Don't you want to see what could be
A life with nourishing trees and lush leaves
Where birds fly with no worry and bunnies hop around happily
Don't you want a world like that too, a world like before
If you want it you've got to hurry, 'cause it won't be like that anymore
