A silver necklace, with her for ages
The day she was born, so was the necklace
It’s as old as our friendship
She gave it to me, like we were twins
The Buddha pendant, shinier than sun
With a shape of our God praying
'Might it bring you happiness and success
Might it remind you of our wonderful past
And the memories will last forever in your mind'
The necklace is still here, next to my heart where it’s supposed to be
She is far away, but the memories will stay
Forever in this necklace and my heart
And maybe one day, I will see her again
