The whale tooth stabs me
With its threatening looks
And it’s icy stare
As if it was once a hook!

Its story is as clear as Chrystal
About the seven seas,
And narrowly escaping that harpoon gun
That got shot at it

It’s a part of a creature of the blue
A modern day mammoth
In a league of its own
Swimming only with its own kind

The tooth is just one of many
Reduced to a number
Yet when they work together
They accomplish big things

So despite being but a number
And it being so small
It is still a tooth
And that tooth is mine.
