Yellow tailed lizard

Yellow tail stuck under a rock.
Even though I move carefully.
Lizard lets me pick it up
Laughing for hours we have lots of fun
Only when the cold comes in, is
When the lizard craves the sun

Time for yellow tail to go home
Another gecko having a great day
I watch as he walks back to slowly roam
Looking back as if to say thank you for the play.
