You Decide

I am filled with the world’s most exotic creatures to the ones that have yet to be found,
I supply your showers and your cool water on a hot summer,
I rain from the sky and spread the world with green,
Yet you decide to pollute me.
You decide that it’s too hard to put your rubbish in the bin,
You decide that I'm worth nothing yet I give you everything,
You decide that my wondrous creatures should die,
You decide that the oceans should turn brown instead of a luscious blue,
You decide that I should choke whilst I help you,
You decide to ignore the fact that I’m drowning though I’m the water,
You decide you should just sit on your high horse and wait for it to carry you away from what you did,
But guess what? Without me, the horse dies…
I… want to decide… that you finally help me.
Some have already taken action on that,
Though now it’s your turn.
