The roar of the crowd filled me with anxiety,
The koalas climbed back up into their trees
And some ran away
It was a long walk from home,
Which was no return today
All families had started evacuating,
From the big red monster swallowing trees
It wasn’t long before we heard the sounds of wailing sirens
This gave us a bit of hope for our homes
We all walked until we saw these big structures,
Which filled up all the land
Months had passed living under a tree
I wanted to return home to my mama and papa
I return back to my new destroyed home
No fresh soil, and no mama and papa
We untied in a space full of greenery
We chased each others around trees
Eating leaves and grass
We were finally free from death
Peace, calmness, stressless
