Bonny Cassidy is of Irish and German descent, living off-grid on Dja Dja Wurrung lands in Central Victoria. Her third poetry collection, Chatelaine (2017) was shortlisted for the Prime Minister’s Literary Awards 2018. Her poems are widely published nationally and internationally, and she has received numerous fellowships and residencies from Antarctica to Canada. Bonny is a critic and essayist on Australian literature and culture, and teaches in Creative Writing at RMIT University, Melbourne. She co-edited the landmark anthology Contemporary Australian Feminist Poetry (Hunter Publishers, 2016), and has founded editorial roles for Rabbit journal and Cordite Poetry Review.
