Craig Billingham migrated to Australia in 1987. His poems have appeared in journals such as Famous Reporter, Snorkel, Going Down Swinging, Meanjin, HEAT, and Antipodes, and a first collection, Storytelling, was published in 2007. He lives in Katoomba, in the Blue Mountains of NSW. He has worked with the Red Room Company in its 2010 collaboration with the Australian Theatre for Young People, where young actors were involved in workshops with contemporary poets and developed their skills in reading and reciting poetry. Craig’s poem “The Fan” was published in 2011 as part of The Red Room Company’s Sun-Herald “Extra” series.
