DENNI is a Tasmanian Aboriginal Artist and proud advocate of her culture through performance and music. For close to a decade DENNI has been both the stage name and collaborative project of Denni Proctor. With a colourful career so far DENNI has played all over the country and continues to build a brilliant reputation as a strong live performer and recording artist in the industry.  

Proud pakana woman and Tasmanian Aboriginal Artist of the year-2020 has been busy developing her new body of work ‘Growing Pains’. Coming a long way since her first single ‘Rabbit to the Bird’-2013 starting out as an indie folk singer/songwriter. With her 3rd independent release ‘Growing Pains’ EP-2021 following ’Runaways’ EP -2020 and ‘Wise Ones’ EP -2019, both reaching top 10 in Australian music charts. 

‘Growing Pains’ is the most recent full release from DENNI lyrically it tells a story of the artist putting it all on the table and continuing to experiment with soundscapes and styles. Boasting a genre fluid craft she continues to grow into a more personal writing style that transports you into her life as an Artist.  2022 has seen DENNI release some of her strongest work to date ‘Strongest Mob (ft. Craig Everett)’, My nita & Gumption. Making huge leaps with these singles and pushing her even further onto the scene as a strong female hip hop artist in Australia and a strong advocate and Artist for the pakana palawa community of lutruwita/Tasmania.
