You may be familiar with Sydney based hip hop and soul artist Mirrah as L-FRESH THE LION's (Elefant Traks) hype emcee over the last 5 years, traveling venues nationwide headlining most notably Newtown Festival, Perth International Arts Festival, WOMADADELAIDE and all of GROOVIN The MOO 2017 tour line up. In addition to her hype duties, Mirrah is a staple hype emcee for iconic soul & funk institution Soul of Sydney, Sydney Festival and Vivid Music 2017.

Mirrah's life story reads like a compelling tale. Having grown up in between California and Sydney, it’s not easy to pigeonhole a musician like Mirrah with a melting pot of multicultural influences surging deep through her veins. Born of Indonesian and African American descent and adopted by white Australian parents, Mirrah knows the true meaning of diversity. Her free spirit is contagious effortlessly invigorating you to acknowledge your own calling in life.

Mirrah dons multiple hats as a musician, radio host, poet, rapper, vocalist and a graduate in youth work services. Her natural talent in music and performance was established at an early age, setting her sights on London at the age of 19 as a choreography dancer. After a short stint in London, Mirrah based herself in Los Angeles from 2000 – 2005 featuring in multiple music video clips for some of Hip Hop and R&B music’s multiaward Grammy winning artists.

In 2005, Mirrah entered a reality TV show aired on UPN called “R U The Girl?” in search of the third TLC vocalist to record their new single. Mirrah was second runner-up winning the hearts of American fans and was often described as ‘sweet, humble, spiritual and well grounded’. Mirrah is a passionate artist with a strong message of self-empowerment and positivity. Her highly anticipated EP 'Life' was released in October 2016 garnering industry support.
