Map me into the land

Intelligent eyes look my way
Map me into the land
Cool indifference
Ignorance is bliss
Panda colours on telegraph lines
Cable ties irrelevant
Swooping is for the enemy
A landscape element
My quiet voice
Their clarion call
Nesting high danger denied
Fledgling efforts to fly
Table’s crumbs spread
Hand fed titbits
Timidity overcome
Silence rules the empty thoroughfare
Airborne, feathers aloft
Discarded nidus
Dry remaining fragments
Alone once more til spring
