A token from the sea that clasps the shore.
You are a prism of frosted light, a glowing
Stone of crystal, I hold you in my hand evermore.

About the Exhibition

In partnership with Big Fat Smile Gallery, the interactive Poetry Object Exhibition celebrates the winning and highly commended entries from the Poetry Object 2016 competition. The exhibition will transport viewers into a literal “red room”, where language, visual prompts and surrealist sense-making conspire to catalyse poetry in response to special objects. Visitors will engage with award-winning poems suspended from driftwood branches, listen to narrated poems and have the opportunity to contribute to a group poem in the space.
