When my violin rests beneath my chin
The heavy burden on my shoulders takes flight
And flutters away like butterflies, gliding in the fragrant breeze.
My ears stop and listen
To the rich, vibrant vibrato
And long bows, the mellow voice
I let the lyrical music lift my heart
Like a leaf floating in the light air
I let the soothing dulcet flow in my body
I let the sound of the serene bows of a violin enter my ears.
Whenever I feel sorrowful, it’s as if the dark clouds are towering over the sky.
The lightning flashing, and thunder howling through winds
But the plucking of a violin clears it all.
The sky turns cornflower-blue and birds burst from the clouds
The sun rays shine brightly on the ground, smiling at me.
Little by little, shut your eyes
And open your mind, your ears
Playing with the bow is one thing
Playing with your heart is another.
