A Bleached Life

The now hot winds blow like a strong breath from God above the Earth
The sun, a crucial part of survival for humans now killing everything it touches
Our colour fades as the days move. Time stops for nothing
What a Bleached Life
We were once vibrant and colourful but now we are colourless and sad
We are uncared for while they worry less, do they possess no guilt
Our importance is much more than anyone can imagine
What a Bleached Life
Humans must make a start. They must try with all their heart.
Whiter and whiter we become bleached to completion by the sun
I think our time is soon to come.
What a Bleached Life
Our glorious reef’s now gone from colour, just ask Australia they will tell you about it.
Global warming hurts us all, slowly affecting us more and more
We are a safe place for fish and a source of food.
We offer protection from the pollution and all the dirty oil
Just why won't anyone care for Coral
But, it may not be too late, if they try they can still fix their mistakes.
What a Bleached Life…
