A chaffy tree

In Phillip Island's embrace, a chaffy tree did stand,
Much like a girl, an outcast in the shifting island sand.
Her growth, a quiet journey, much like the tree's own grace,
From fragile roots to sturdy trunk, in that secluded space.
Through winds that howled like laughter, and storms that left their mark,
She found her strength and purpose, in shadows deep and dark.
The chaffy tree, her confidante, a constant, steadfast guide,
As seasons turned, they both grew tall, side by side.
From innocence to wisdom, like a girl to womanhood,
They both found beauty in their scars, and all that life had withstood.
And now they stand as symbols, of resilience and grace,
The girl who found her place in the world, and the tree in that special space.
