A Climate Crisis

The temperature is rising, 
Our atmosphere is crying.
Polar ice caps are melting,
Why is no one helping?

The hands are going tik-tok, 
There’s not much time left on the clock.
90% of Antarctica is melting, 
I don’t understand why we aren’t helping?

Our beloved glaciers are rapidly sinking,
But the Government is just sitting there thinking.
All the Polar Bears are yelping, 
Yet still no one is helping.

This climate crisis that is happening, 
We have to help the animals battling.
Sinking into the ocean melting,
But there’s still no one that is helping.

Everyone says, ‘We only have one Earth’, 
We have to realise that it will never rebirth.
I stood at the top of a mountain belting, 
Why isn’t anyone helping!?
