A day at the beach

Waves crash on the shoreline

revealing all the unique shells 

as the water gets dragged out

by the strong current.

Fish swimming in between people’s feet as they go for a swim

under the cool, refreshing water.

People play cricket, sand flying everywhere

when the bat hits the roasting hot ground.

Under the luscious water there are magical sea life 

Fish swimming in peace, seaweed getting 

tangled in people's feet as teenagers 

throw their friends and siblings into the waves.
