Far away from city fumes,

Surrounded by the evergreen,

A floor of moss, covered in shrooms

Not a person to be seen.

The crash of waves comes sweeping in

From over by the bluff.

This paradise is a haystack’s pin

A diamond in the rough.

Out here I face no troubles

Time slows to a stop

And my happiness doubles

In this lush green backdrop

A place where nature’s still in charge

Shielded from the human race

For once wildlife is at large

In this wondrous world of grace.
