Sweeping through, looking for you,
Not to be seen, life just felt mean,
Turning a corner,
Leaving miserably,
Seconds later, we saw a gift from heaven,
He was standing there,
As still as I was looking and staring,
Joy rushing through me,
I hugged him and he felt as soft as a freshly made muffin,
And it was just for me,
He had happiness to gift to me, heart and hope,
Helping me through cries of joy and excitement,
Now he looks old and lost,
He was isolated for years,
I still have him,
He is lost but a never forgotten memory,
I hug him every night and all night,
As back then he was fluffy, clean, bubbly, cute, fresh,
As for now he is ragged, wrecked, rotten, ripped and used,
But he still sleeps with me every night to this day and I still love him.
